Queer-affirming, neurodivergent therapist in Portland Oregon smiling against green backdrop

You appear to be doing well on the outside and deeply overwhelmed on the inside.

If you are Neurocomplex, you may have spent years learning how to adapt, mask, people-please, and push through, just to keep up with expectations that were never designed with your brain in mind.

You may be successful, capable, and deeply thoughtful, while still feeling burned out, disconnected, or unsure whether the life you have built actually fits.

Therapy can be a place to slow down and begin separating who you are from who you had to become to feel accepted, safe, productive, or “good.”

I work with Neurocomplex adults, especially those who identify with Autism, ADHD, OCD, or the overlap between them, whether formally diagnosed or self-identified.

Together, we can explore burnout, identity, relationships, masking, work, and what it might look like to move toward a more authentic and sustainable life.

You were never meant to build a life around pretending you are fine.

What We’ll Work On Together

Getting to know your neurotype
Understanding how your brain works, what supports you, what overwhelms you, and what you may have been taught to hide or override.

Understanding burnout
Naming the emotional, sensory, relational, and executive functioning exhaustion that can come from years of pushing through.

Exploring masking and self-protection
Looking at how hiding your needs, traits, communication style, or limits may have helped you survive, while also slowly wearing you down.

Making space for your truth
Practicing honesty with yourself about what you want, what you need, what hurts, and what no longer fits.

Untangling relationship patterns
Exploring dynamics where you feel unseen, dismissed, over-responsible, or like you are always the one doing the emotional labor.

Moving beyond people-pleasing and role-conforming
Noticing where you have been performing the “good,” capable, agreeable, or productive version of yourself, and exploring who you are when you are not organizing your life around others’ comfort.

Rethinking work, purpose, and productivity
Looking at how career expectations, productivity culture, masking, and burnout may be shaping your choices, and what more aligned work or next steps could look like.

Finding what actually works for you
Building supports, rhythms, communication tools, boundaries, and systems that fit your real brain and life, instead of forcing yourself into neurotypical expectations.
